The end result of TRIANGLE's months in front of their laptops twisting and shaping 1s and 0s and behind their rickety slew of microphones and compressors is a perfect amalgamation of past and present pop. TRIANGLE takes cues from both TALKING HEADS and BIG AUDIO DYNAMITE's afro-pop eras while employing the break beats and IDM styling of PLAID and MOUSE ON MARS. Above the beats, Warner and Tester trade melodies and share harmonies (ala YO LA TENGO) breathing pop purity into their ambitious full-length debut.
