Fans of Guns N' Roses hoping for a reprise of that band's blistering raunch and roll might be disappointed by the debut of Duff McKagan's new project, 10 Minute Warning; the group's self-titled debut is instead a return to the primordial grunge sound of the early-'80s Seattle scene which originally spawned them, with murky, grinding songs like Swollen Rage and Face First bringing to mind bands like Green River or early Soundgarden. ~ Jason Ankeny, All Music Guide
