A mess of grainy sounding unreleased demos, live tracks, and B-side castoffs make up this budget set. While its lo-fi quality actually enhances some of the tracks, this is a long way from being the set you start your 13th Floor Elevators collection with. Its utter lack of liner notes or recording information hurts, but to its credit, it includes what appears to be the original take of "You're Gonna Miss Me." ~ Cub Koda, All Music Guide
