33.3

Introducing the glorious debut full length from Connecticut's 33.3, and instrumental trio of cello, guitar and drums. Their song writing is an interesting blend of jazz, rock, classical and experimentation, which seem to revolve around various time signatures and repetitional patterns. This recording was originally 7 songs, but just before the manufacturing stages, two additional songs were added to the mix (these being "Coalesce" and "Disperse") to help lengthen the recording.

This record has been finished for around a year now, and was mastered last winter by Scott Adamson (credit in the liner notes is given to Casey Rice who was supposed to master it, but was unable to at the last minutes due to scheduling). On this release 33.3 choose to use the brown chipboard that many of you have become familiar with. We feel it lends the perfect aesthetic to their music for this release. The lp is available on black wax and the lp has a small insert with it.
