The combination of random instruments in various rooms at random times.

49admiral would like you to believe it's a full band with various players all contributing for the greater musical good, but in actuality it's just one person.

One person with a few guitars and a device with a "record" button.

Which makes me think.

The greatest invention of the last century could possibly of been the "record" button.

Ok, that's probably hyperbole, but at least it's my favorite. It's always a different color than the rest of the buttons and lot of the times it's red/orange (my favorite color). It just yells out, "Push me. I dare you."

And so I press it.

And the little red "record" light comes on.

This little button is the reason 49admiral is here. You see, without the record button 49admiral does not exist. It would just be a random collection of sounds in random basements and bedrooms. Without the record button 49admiral would just be someone singing alone.

Sort of like the crazies in the park.

So with this said, and as I open the sixth or maybe seventh beer, I say thank you record button. Thank you for everything.
