2006, The Kora Records
55.12 is an eight song journey submerged in dreamy, multi-layered atmospherics. The band blurs the line of ambient and indie, from heavy and dark one moment to hushed and serene the next, all while angelic guy/girl vocals drift overhead. Mixed by Brian Paulson (Slint, Wilco, Beck).

Mike D InsoundThis is another album I just picked up and can't stop listening to. Each song is as good as the next filled with soaring guitars, gorgeous low-flying vocals, and dark strings that seem to direct all the air traffic through this soundscape. If I would have to make artist comparisons, I would say that Stylus is right on the money, Gregor Samsa sound like the perfect combination of Sigur Ros, Godspeed You Black Emperor, and Low.
