Guitarist Bill Dolan, drummer John Herndon, bassist LeRoy Bach and keyboard player Jeremy Jacobsen formed the instrumental fusion/funk group 5ive Style. Nearly five years after its self-titled instrumental debut effort, 5ive Style released this engaging follow-up. In the interim, the group's other ensembles gained some notoriety, as did a whole movement of experimental instrumental bands.
