2007, Absolutely Kosher
Caught mid meltdown between the colliding energy of the city and the panoramic North Coast 60 Watt Kid are sometimes unaware of the forces at work. They enjoy spinning the room with psychedelic ambient experimental noise pop and rapping about buying airplanes. They are about tweaking analog beats, electronic glitches, home made samples, pulsing rhythms, wacked intertwining finger picking, homemade tunings, altering formats, getting lost in the space where the sound is their only friend and such. Their lyrics are based on everything from talking with alien bums to other real life day to day experiences. They love warm analog tones, blind tunings and live improvisation.
