8 Candy

This side project of Scott Cortez from Loveliescrushing has become the stuff of legend. Originally started years ago, the story behing this music involves big name producers, courting by major labels, opening slots for Spirtualized(!), and numerous band member changes. In the end though, Scott decided to go it alone, and these 8 tracks (available exclusively here) are the result. More pop oriented that his Loveliescrushing material, the blurred, saturated distortion present here draws easy comparisions to Loveless-era My Bloody Valentine, but maintains a flavor all its own.
