800 Cherries are the Tokyo-based Shibuya-kei duo of Manami Marufuji (vocals) and Masayuki Takahashi (production).
The 800 Cherries sound has evolved from ethereal, acoustic, and guitar-based into a more electic style that incorporates electronic and glitch influences, but constant are the Japanese indie/electro pop staples of whispery vocals and tinkly keyboards.
