2009, Cherry Red Records
Felt are regarded by many as one of the seminal British Indie bands to ever exist. Constantly eluded by commercial success, they have become one of the most critically acclaimed bands of the 1980s.

Over the course of its ten-year existence, the band included classically-trained guitarist and co-songwriter Maurice Deebank, keyboard player Martin Duffy (who would later join Primal Scream) & bassist-turned-lead guitarist Marco Thomas.

Amid whispers of a brand new album on the way from enigmatic front man & visionary, Lawrence, Cherry Red is delighted to present this definitive Felt collection for digital download only.

Kicking off with their very first single 'Index', which only previously ever appeared on 500 long deleted 7' singles, the album rolls into a sublime selection of Felt classis from Ballad Of The Band & Penelope Tree to the epic Primitive Painters (backing vocals from Cocteau Twins & recently covered by Manic Street Preachers on their new album Journal For Plague Lovers).

The album also includes the other indie hit singles 'Trails of Colour Dissolve', 'Sunlight Bathed the Golden Glow' 'Final Resting of the Ark' and 'Space Blues', finishing with 'New Day Dawni from Felt' final album and 10th in 10 years 'Me & A Monkey On The Moon'.

This download collection cannot fail to delight existing Felt fans and amaze any new digital listeners.
