Tetine are Brazilian artists/musicians Bruno Verner and Eliete Mejorado and are stars of Sao Paulo's avant garde music scene -- uniting electronic music with Brazilian dark sambas, performance art, spoken word, super 8 movies and whatever came into their heads. Their musical influences range from bands such as Throbbing Gristle, Peaches, Tuxedomoon to Kraftwerk, Can, but it also incorporates heavily the more experimental side of Brazilian musicians such as Paulinho Da Viola, Os Mutantes, Chico Buarque or the Tropicalists and Rio Baile Funk artists."
