Austin, TX's I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness formed in 2001 as a new project between Windsor For The Derby's Christian Goyer, guitarist Ernest Salaz of Glorium, bassist Edward Robert of Paul Newman/Cyrus Rego, and drummer Tim White. The band soon hit upon a mix of melody and dark atmosphere which garnered a great deal of attention in it's hometown. They found themselves not only becoming 'THE' up-and-coming band in town, but also almost immediately aquired slots opening for some of their own personal heroes, Wire and The Fall.
