Originally released in 1986, their sophomore effort is noisier and more rambunctious than their debut The Bright Orange Years. Released on CD for the first time, All-Night Lotus Party sees principal songwriter Peter Prescott (Mission of Burma) in a more collaborative effort with bandmates Jon Williams and Jeff Weigand. The trio melds "hardcore punk and heartland rock" (All Music Guide) into a heavier, darker sound with more distortion on the guitars and more bass-heavy production. Beautifully remastered by legendary engineer Bob Weston. Features eleven bonus tracks, many previously unreleased.
