VINYL FORMAT. All the Hits is a loose collection of beat sketches, modern day library music and general oddball ideas brewed late at night by the mad and unique genius himself. A bit like the Disco-Funk-Hip Hop Uncle of Zomby, James here presents eighteen wierd ideas that seemingly sit at the exact crossroads of his album proper Welcome and his Rhythm Trax LP, doodles and brainwaves too good to keep to himself, but not quite actual tracks in themselves. Breaks, funk and lashings of Boogie, squelchy synths and archival Bass combine for at once and engrossing, amusing and head nodding listen, it's fascinating and excellent stuff and an amazing glimpse into the mind of one of the most engaging and original producers out there right now.
