VINYL FORMAT. Delirious, UK rainy-day melancholy psychedelic indie, with some Blue Oyster Cult, Stone Roses, and Belle and Sebastian thrown in for good measure. First single "All the Pleasures of the World," with its loping bass lines, swooning strings and eerie, hypnotic harmonies, is an intricate and atmospheric pop song. The whole album recalls the minor key majesty and close-knit harmonies of 60s maestros such as the the Zombies, the Byrds and the Beach Boys.
