You know sometimes when you're alone in your shower and you start belting out those hits that'll one day make you a famous and rich pop star, and you keep singing for like a half an hour because it feels so good in the shower and the water is so warm but then eventually the water starts to get cold and then your sonofabitch roommate flushes the toilet in the downstairs bathroom and you lose all of the water pressure in the shower, so you just turn the water off and go dry off in your room and scrounge up enough change to take the bus to work because your bike tires are flat as hell and you want to stab the planet in the face with a shank, but the world is already going to hell as it is, so you decide to leave the world alone for now, and as you're walking to the bus stop and you're about a block away from it, you see the bus pass by so you have no other option other than to sit and wait for the next one to come in about 15 minutes and while you're sitting there you just sing to yourself and the people who are passing you by think that you're a schizophrenic nut mumbling to yourself, but you know that those hits are gonna make you famous and rich and that eventually your baby will come back to you in time, but for now it's just you and these dumb songs on this fucking corner in the city and you know you're gonna be late for work again and somewhere across town a friend is going through the same shit and he's just waiting for the day to tag team his guitar with your crappy voice.
