VINYL FORMAT. An Ethereal Oracle itself is very much worth documenting. Many different rock subgenre styles (sludge rock, post-hardcore, experimental/angular indie rock) seem to stick out during the course of nine tracks and 45 minutes, with plausible comparisons being drawn to Shellac, Bastro, The Paper Chase, and Melvins. Although complimentary, such recommended-if-you-like lists tend to come up short with fully describing what Warhammer 48k is about. [….] And while this album most likely won't overwhelm the MTV masses, it is a perfectly consistent and powerful record that any nascent label would love to call their maiden release. - Josh Zanger - Chicago Journal
