2004, Jade Tree
The unstoppable MILEMARKER return with their Jade Tree debut, "Anaesthetic." Their fourth studio album to date, "Anaesthetic" is their second full-length recorded at the Washington, DC- based Salad Days studio with engineer/producer Brian McTernan (Cave In, Hot Water Music, Strike Anywhere, The Explosion). Known for pushing the boundaries of hardcore punk and as innovators in incorporating electronic elements into the genre, the new LP pushes their new wave tendencies, but finds the sound simultaneously evolving into something more than the sum of its parts: epic, sprawling rock anthems which sound like sci-fi soundtrack music genetically spliced with BLACK FLAG. Milemarker has created their most complex, yet most accessible, album to date.
