Angels of the Universe

Much of the music from the film "Angels of the Universe" was composed by Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson, who won European Film Composer of the Year in 1995 for his work on the Oscar-nominated "Children of Nature." Sigur Rós contributes two lengthy pieces, "Bíum Bíum Bambaló" and "Danarfregnir Og Jardarfarir." The first is based on a popular Icelandic lullaby, while the latter is a rendition of the music that underscores the daily funeral announcements, which are read out on national radio.
