This new URCHIN release is even better than last year's debut album. THE URCHIN may be the best emo/pop punk band in Japan right now. They play Powerful heartfelt punk at breakneck speed with memorable melodies. The lyrics are serious yet always have a twist of humor. Musically, THE URCHIN are in the tradition of AVAIL, DILLINGER 4, JAWBREAKER, LEATHERFACE, PROPAGANDHI...but of course they sound like JUST ONE DAY meets BLEW! This summer they will be on tour in the States for about 1 month! While the CD is NOT EXPORTABLE TO JAPAN The LP is Allowed to be sent over there.
