2004, Dischord/Bug
Antelope play catchy-mesmerizing- riffs that give props to Lungfish but used the melody vs. repitition equation to produce very different results. Mike and Bee have been playing together for years, most notably in the Vertebrates, Justin is a bit of a musical renaissance man. As well as playing guitar for Antelope he plays in El Guapo (Dischord Records) and Edie Sedgwick (Dischord/Mud memory).

Livernash, MichaelThese guys came through my town and it was one of the best shows I have seen here in a while. Their certain cockyness won me over. Dischord have started to pay a little attention to Reno. Joe Lally last month then Antelope a few nights ago. I have listened to Reflector and this one and I have not been able to put it down. Very good music, makes me feel like I am on a adventure. Downside is the albums are very short, even the LP. Highly recommended.
