2004, Outer Himalayan
The band's first new material in nearly four years! Rudimentary Peni's still defying the medical world and still crackling with anarcho-punk ferocity. (Kerrang! once said of the band, "Rudimentary Peni...were probably the most influential band to emerge from the Anarcho Punk scene...Rudimentary Peni are deities in the world of squats and direct action.") Their "Archaic" EP is as punk as it gets, but deals more with personal experience than wider political issues. With the release of this record, work now starts on writing the next one, which will take the usual unhurried two or three years to complete.
