2009, Tee Pee
This release is quite different from the band's previous lineups and from the 2004 release, 10 Mile Grace, which was alt-country executed by post-punk kids. By contrast, Are Men brings a sense of lighthearted fun-timin' to the songwriting and execution - more country-rock block party; less alt. Sing-along choruses, three-part harmonies, psych guitar freakouts, and rowdy gang vocals. For the similarly post-jaded kids and honest fans of Americana, Are Men sounds like the record you actually enjoy listening to.
