Art School Girls is simultaneously an art concept record and a time capsule of the group's first eighteen months together - amalgamating a sense of humor, a non-stop party vibe, and a groundbreaking synthesis of styles. Rarely is a record so eclectic yet thematic. They have performed with such disparate acts as Spankrock, Dan Deacon, Japanther, Afrika Bambataa, The Cool Kids, and Murs. "It's cultural fusion," Telli (Ninjasonik MC) says. "I don't think sound has been merged like what we do. I'm a rapper, Jah's a punk, and Teenwolf's a musicologist. Ninjasonik is a religion, it is not a fad."
