This is the first full-length from Icarus Line frontman Joe Cardamone and guitarist Don Devore. Its nine tracks are a departure from the Icarus Line and serve as the more beat driven, dark indie rock cousin to Icarus Line's beautifully gory lo-fi sound. As Templar Nites still incorporates Cardamone's haunting voice and lyrics and Devore's perfectly jagged and distorted guitar works. Guests include members of the Philadelphia noise band Need New Body and Euphone.
