Aural
Aural is a band from Mexicali, Baja California (Northernmost Mexico). Born in 1996 after "Fieles Difuntos" (Ernesto Vivo's Avant Pop band from Mexicali) split up. In that same year, Karla Garduño joins the band as lead singer, and it's in those days that Aural's first songs see the light. In 1997 a new member, Alberto Heredia (Drums) enters the band, fitting quickly into it's sound, adding new ideas and improving the general creative process as a quartet.
The Room where Aural used to rehearse at Karla's house often worked as a sort of collective refugee during early 1997. Most themes from their first production were composed and arranged there.
