After his stunning debut, Fire in The Arms of the Sun (Ba Da Bing!) and the follow-up EP, Bleecker Station (Keyhole), Greg Weeks has amassed a fervent following within the folk psych world. Awake Like Sleep is like the lost sixties chamber folk record you've always hoped to discover, filled with vintage instrumentation and old-timey strange song goodness. One must go to McDonald And Giles' self-titled one-off or Comus' First Utterance for something comparable, but Leonard Cohen or Nico's work might not be far off either.
