VINYL FORMAT. Awesome Color came out of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Singer/guitarist Derek Stanton grew up across the street from Scott "Rock Action" Asheton of The Stooges. Derek learned a few things abut rock n' roll. Things he'll never forget. He and drummer Allison Busch and bassist Michael Troutman jumped in their bombed out car and set up shop in Brooklyn. And began to blow minds. Live they're a heavy cosmic guitar kill with a rhythm section coming through like a freight train. When they play they are joined by brothers and sisters grabbing instruments and getting loud. Sax in the audience, playing guitar with bare feet, and wolf dances all go down.
