RESTOCK. From Leicester and London, Prolapse define themselves with heady pop spontaneity, deep rhythm and supreme noise. The band established a reputation as great live act, alcohol fuelled frenzies complete with dual vocal punch ups, meshed with discordant guitar assaults and metronomic rythms. Peels sessons ensued, as well as tours with Pulp, Sebadoh, Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, and Sonic Youth, among others. Prolapse aren't about unity of thought, action, and spirit. They're more interested in friction, puzzlement and dysfunction. One of the few truly maverick spirited, original and challenging bands of the late 90's. The uneasy listening revival starts here.
