This release takes the spirit of music Bettie Serveert has made in the past and colors it with even more appealing sounds than last year's stellar Attagirl (the title which introduced the band to an entirely new audience of fans thanks to prominent exposure on "The O.C." and "One Tree Hill"). As the title implies, this record has the band back to their basics best. Stripped down electric songs with Peter Visser's guitar work driving things forward and Carol Van Dyk's unmistakable vocals rich in indelible imagery. Twelve new tracks plus a 79-minute DVD with eleven live songs spanning the band's career, including video footage from the album's recording session, a road film from their 2005 US tour, a photo gallery, and a music video Easter egg.
