Battles is headed by Ian Williams (who you might recognize as frontman for Don Caballero and Storm and Stress) and John Stanier (the Swiss timing machine behind the kit, formerly of Helmet). Dave Konopka on guitar and Tyondai Braxton on guitar and keys round out the band.
