With a Coward-esque warble and a precise and deliberate manner Benjamin Wetherill cuts an unusual figure amongst his song-writing contemporaries, performing a romantic blend of darkened, spidery arch-folk and pre-war-swoon material.
From folk crowds to indie and experimental audiences, over the past four years Benjamin has wooed listeners and made an ineffable impression on the UK underground music scene through a constant performance schedule and numerous, independently released recordings. Forthcoming projects include a split 10" with David Thomas Broughton through Birdwar Records (UK) and plans are currently underway for a full-length album.
