Le Corbeau is the solo project of Øystein Sandsdalen (Sereena Maneesh), which started when he began exchanging music with Oliver Ackerman (A Place to Bury Strangers/ ex-Skywave) in 2006. The track "Night Stroll" on Best of Both Volume 1 is from the critically acclaimed LP "Evening Chill/ Montreal of the Mind" that was partially inspired by Sandsdalen's time in Montreal, Canada.
Slim Twig is a shape-shifting performer and song-sculptor based in Toronto. His artistic vision is born from a twisted landscape of pop and experimental music and avant-garde film. Besides his great hair, this vision has given many critics a lot to write about since being introduced last year with his two-part EP series, Derelict Dialect and Vernacular Violence.
