Bird By Snow

Bird By Snow is a lo-fi band that can be placed in the aesthetic and community of the indie rock/folk artists working and living in the Pacific Northwest. Formed in 2005, Bird By Snow is the band/recording project of Fletcher M. Tucker. Tucker is the songwriter, singer, engineer, primary composer and performer on all Bird By Snow songs and records. Many guest musicians have joined Tucker to perform live and in recorded form. Most recorded material features heavy contributions by Spencer Owen, who releases music under his own name on the same American label as Bird By Snow.

Bird By Snow has traveled through the East and West Coasts of the U.S., and through Europe performing in the U.K., Germany, France, Spain, The Netherlands, Iceland, Norway, Denmark and Sweden on 7 musical tours since 2005. In addition to their tours Bird By Snow hasperformed at a handful of international festivals including several (((Folkyeah!))) happenings and festivals in Big Sur California, The Festival of Endless Gratitude (2009) in Copenhagen Denmark, and (most notably) at the auspicious Tanned Tin Festival (2007) in Castellon Spain, alongside more commercially successful artists like the Sea and Cake, Deerhoof, and the Dirty Projectors.
