In his recent work with the Broke Revue, Melchior seems to have found a way of marrying his love of the best aspects of country blues and R&B with a more extreme sonic approach, utilizing the misanthropic fury of '70s punk and the drive of classic '60s catalysts like the Stooges and Them.
