RESTOCK. What the hell's up with Sweden? Are some very special glaciers melting, de-thawing young bodies yearning for long-dormant rock n' roll? It's not enough that The Hives and The Hellacopters, The Backyard Babies and The (International) Noise Conspiracy, Sahara Hot Nights and Randy are all threatening to flood the world with Sweden's seed -- another band has rushed onto the scene. No, it's not a watered-down copy of any of the aforementioned juggernauts. It's DIVISION OF LAURA LEE, a melodic band that ain't afraid to rip you a new one. They do, however, share some common ground with their Swedish brethren: a penchant for flamboyance, not arrogance; a sense of playfulness; limitless energy; and so much live exuberance that you'd believe that the redefinition of rock 'n roll is once again up for grabs.
