Black Eyes

VINYL FORMAT. Forming late 2008 around charismatic guitarist/vocalist Marty Frawley (son of revered Australian songwriter Maurice Frawley) and bassist Rick Milovanovic, the Twerps have quickly risen to become one of Australia's favorite lo-? pop bands. Their debut EP, released on Chapter Music in late 2009, featured nine short, simple but incredibly infectious tracks, recorded by Eddy Current Suppression Ring guitarist Mikey Young. These tracks were also released by US label Night People, run by members of blog hype band Wet Hair. On the basis of these releases, the Twerps have received a wealth of positive attention from around the world. They are also just putting the finishing touches on their debut album, due in mid-2011.
