2009, Stankhouse
VINYL FORMAT. Portland's premier Sci-Fi-Billy quintet. This 7" is on the bands own Stankhouse Records. Two tracks fueled with thumpin' bass, poundin' drums, howlin' vocals and spaced-out theremin licks to boot. Recorded spring of 2008 by Alex Yusimov at The Pool Recording Studio in Portland, Oregon. Endorsed by the Mississippi Records stamp of approval. Hand screened 3D cover (yes the record comes with glasses). Limited to 300 copies.
Customer Reviews

Daniel BerriwetherThis record seems to be a perfect garage rock single. The A-side, Black Mold is a hard rocker, tightly pounding steadily through frantic build-ups and intense vocal delivery. The B-side maintains to traditionally represent the other more "sensitive" or "psychedelic" side of the band while still staying "true grit" driven edgy rock. I love both these songs and wish there was more! Definitely this record is an instant classic to any collection of 45s.
