"Blank Air" is a smooth song, reflective and haunting, featuring one of those typical, memorable Notwist hooklines. This track was composed for a movie by Jörg Adolph. The B-side features a cover version by Console of Brian Eno & Cluster's "By This River." Console has already released a vocal version of this, so here you'll find an alternate instrumental that has an even more ambient feel than the original.
