Blobscape

Karate's Geoff Farina reveals more of his unconventional side in Blobscape, an adventurous solo album featuring 16 guitar improvisations culled from one hundred such performances recorded in the Fall of 2001 at the Narragansett Grange Hall in Wakefield, RI. Among his inspirations for this collection include Derek Bailey, Charlie Parker, Bach, John Zorn...and Secret Stars collaborator Jodi Buonanno, who inked "action paintings" as Geoff watched and played, both working off each others' ideas.
