Blow Your Head: Diplo Presents Dubstep

Mad Decent is proud to announce the first volume in their Blow Your Head series of compilations, Diplo Presents Dubstep. Featuring sixteen tracks, some brand new and unreleased, some underrated and some classics - all of which are hand selected favorites by Diplo from across the spectrum of this burgeoning, multi-faced genre. The dubstep label has been applied to a wide variety of music and producers over the last few years. Rather than draw lines in the sand or define a genre on its perception, the Blow Your Head series presents an open ended selection of slow burners by the likes of James Blake and Zomby, as well as in-your-face bangers from Rusko and Caspa, and Doctor P. The compilation also includes cleverly remixed vocals on tracks from Stenchman and Skream, as well as Diplo's own forward thinking collaborations - melding pysch-rock sweetness and dubstep aggression with Borgore, and Lil Jon's signature screams with dubstep's signature wobble on 'U Don't Like Me.' Blow Your Head Volume 1 is as much a showcase of the genre's biggest names and tracks as it is a guide to what dubstep of the future may hold.
