VINYL FORMAT. Ridiculously prolific (this is their fourth release) and occasionally annoying in their desperate desire to be heard, this trio finally won me over because of its bountiful punk-rock energy, mod affections (album cover spoofs the famous picture of The Who huddled under the Union Jack) and gonzo sense of humor (witness the bad pun of the title). Plus they pay tribute "Clarissa Explains It All" and cover the Bangles' "James," a great tune about a fine and regal name. --Jim DeRogatis Illinois Entertainer
