These artists have included Ralph Stanley, George Strait and Patty Loveless. Along with a Grammy, his collaborations have had resulted in plenty of hit songs with artists like George Strait, Dixie Chicks, Patty Loveless and Mark Chesnutt. His 1990s recordings for Warner Bros., Atlantic and RCA garnered loads of critical acclaim and a loyal cult following, but working with independent labels has given him the creative freedom to make music that stirs his passions.
