Every Day and Every Night (CDep)
The next singer-songwriter of true importance to emerge from the American indie music scene. This 5-song EP continues to showcase Conor's talent at combining well-crafted, insightful lyrics with haunting music and melodies to produce songs that are manic, depressing, honest, and inspiring.

| My personal favorite of Conor Oberst's extensive offerings. This is a necessity for any Bright Eyes fan - it was the first EP I purchased by him and it's my favorite for good reason - the five songs on the EP are probably the best Oberst has to offer. I do pose a cautionary warning: if you don't think you can handle Conor's warble or depressive lyrics, steer clear of this - you'd be better off going to Wal*Mart and picking up something happy and poppy. Might I suggest Kelly Clarkson? | |

| I have heard most of what Bright Eyes have put out and this is my favorite by far. Although it is only a 5 song EP, it is still my favorite. I don't think they could have made it more songs because this EP seems to be perfect the way it is...i mean it is kind of a concept album I'd say. It's not just 5 songs put together on a record...they are supposed to be together. I agree with that other guy's review...song number 2 is the best song I've ever heard by them. Anyway buy this...it's very inspirational to an 18 year old song writer like myself because the lead guy...his name is Connor Oberst I believe...yeah well he is only like 20 I think...which means most of Bright Eyes's stuff was done when he was in his teens. What an accomplishment. | |

| This is a great album. My girlfriend bought it a says that it scares her. She made me a copy of it and I can't stop listening to it. They're great, I don't know what she is talking about! | |

| i broke up with a girlfriend of 2 years. i cannot explain my confusion towards the situation, bright eyes can. if you have ever wondered what the sound of ripping ones own heart out of their rib cage while singing would sound like, try track 2. That song alone is stronger than any full album i have purchased in a long while. Thank you Colin. | |
