2009, Wolf and Lamb
VINYL FORMAT. Wolf and Lamb step forward with their own production paying homage to their homeland with the Brooklynn EP. The Wolf and Lamb sound is simple and groove-led, citing multi-cultural influences true to the vibrant New York scene. "Therapist" is reminiscent of the old Chicago sound while "Keep Me Up All Night" is true to its name. Rolling beats and melodies are fed under a sexy sample beckoning you to the dance-floor. "Must Be Brooklynn" is the deeper sibling of the package and the gliding pianos and broken beats of "Idiosyncratic" provide an onslaught of jazz-infused house music. Wolf and Lamb was born in 2001 as an alias for Brooklyn-born musical souls, Zev Eisenberg and Gadi Mizrahi. Over the years, this unique partnership has been involved in a well-respected record label, nightclub/studio space, production partnership and DJ duo. Gadi's forte is sounds, synths and concept, while Zev handles the engineering, editing and writing of the tracks.
