Famous for short songs and more instrumentally inclined than their brethren of the time, but by no means jazzbos or of Greg Ginn capabilities, thier clean guitar sound and bass heavy songs reminded you you were hearing a trio. Song subjects ran from politics to personla and were uncommonly smart. D Boon, guitarist and singer died in 1986, leading Steve Albini to write "shit...what now...there was a band that did everything RIGHT" in his diary. Amen brother.
