New Roman Times (CD)
New Roman Times is perhaps Camper Van Beethoven's most musically accomplished and conceptually ambitious effort to date. The album is a vivid, with a fanciful rock-opera storyline that's rife with parallels to America's current political landscape. The originators of 'surrealist absurdist folk' are back with NEW ROMAN TIMES, their first studio record in 15 years, a sci-fi quasi rock opera. These guys of CVB didn't want to get together and make the usual bad reunion album, so instead CVB has been reunited for 4 years, the gel has set again and the CVB sound is back!
