Canada's Green Highways

Mark Robinson, proud owner of the Teenbeat label, has been in many bands; among them UNREST, AIR MIAMI, FLIN FLON, GRENADINE. He has produced and remixed albums by TRUE LOVE ALWAYS, COLD COLD HEARTS, TUSCADERO, MAGNETIC FIELDS & SUPERCHUNK.

He's known for his pop sensibility and rythmic guitar playing. With last Fall's Tiger Banana, he started his long overdue solo career with a pleasant collection of casual pop. The music could be called traditional indie rock or pop, a bit more mellow than his Flin Flon recordings and very structured pop songs which contrast with his recent electronic Taste EP. Canada's Green Highways meets the high mark set by Tiger Banana and takes it much higher. Mark enlisted the help of his friend JULIET SWANGO from THE RONDELLES to contribute vocals on the hit "100% Guaranteed". Producer Trevor/hollAnd contributed all the electronic sounds and beeps heard liberally throughout Canada's Green Highways.
