With lyrics cut from dated astronomy texts & ping pong vocal rounds soaked in reverb, Primitive Motion create their own brand of spontaneous, steam-driven electronic pop. Their moves recall Joe Jones' repetitive readymades, & Joe Meek's I Hear a New World. Following their work on a sound piece for a gallery opening in Sydney, Leighton Craig & visual artist & musician Sandra Selig started recording as Primitive Motion. The duo is also part of The Deadnotes, a shambling art-punk group that often collaborate with The Legend! (AKA Everett True).
